- Tissue Culture Facility: This resource is available to research groups in Biosciences and to external customers, for animal cell culture
in vitro. Cells are cultivated in flasks and plates, for observation and manipulation, and examination of their growth and behaviour. Great care must
be taken to avoid contamination of these cultures and so handling of the cells is done within a safety hood, as seen here.
